New or used

Advice for your BMW, not a generic package.

A BMW should be protected around its age, use and condition. A brand-new car can be filmed before it collects road wear; a used one deserves an honest inspection before anyone recommends polishing, PPF or ceramic coating.

Buying new

Protect the finish before regular use.

For a new 1 Series, 3 Series or X model, front-end PPF is often the sensible everyday choice. New M cars, an i8, or higher-value 7 and 8 Series models are more likely to justify extended or full PPF, especially when the owner wants to preserve the factory finish long term.

Buying used

Let the condition decide the preparation.

A used BMW may arrive with motorway chips, dealer preparation marks or previously painted panels. We inspect those areas in proper lighting and recommend only the correction the finish needs. Ceramic protection can make washing easier, but it is not a substitute for film where stone chips are the concern.

Model considerations

Put protection where it earns its keep.

BMW’s gloss-black grilles, mirror details and lower trims mark easily, while M cars add broad arches and more exposed sills. X models often need practical protection around loading edges, door entries and high-contact areas as well as the front end.
