How and why we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, prepare quotations, suggest vehicle details when you use the photograph-to-protection planner, arrange and deliver services, provide aftercare, administer customer records, protect our website, improve our services and meet legal or accounting obligations.
Photographs submitted to the planner are resized before transmission and used to return a vehicle suggestion. Surface Works does not add these photographs to the website or retain them after the identification request unless you separately choose to include a photograph with an enquiry.
Our lawful bases will normally be taking steps at your request before entering a contract, performing a contract, complying with a legal obligation, pursuing our legitimate interests in operating and securing the business, or consent where consent is required. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use necessary cookies to operate the site and may use optional cookies or similar technologies for functionality, live chat, analytics or marketing. CookieYes records and manages your choices. Optional technologies should not be used until the relevant consent has been given.
You can review or change your choices at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. You can also control cookies through your browser, although blocking necessary cookies may affect parts of the site.

Providers used by this website may include CookieYes for consent management, Microsoft Clarity and Google for analytics and advertising measurement, StackAdapt and Meta for advertising, Jotform for enquiry forms, Tawk.to for live chat, OpenAI for vehicle photograph analysis, and Meta/WhatsApp when you choose to message us through WhatsApp. Optional analytics and advertising technologies are subject to your CookieYes choices. Each provider processes information under its own terms and privacy arrangements.
