Straightforward product advice
What it does, and what it does not do.
HALOv2 is a flexible coating developed specifically for paint protection film and vinyl. It can improve water and dirt repellency while making suitable gloss, satin and matte film easier to maintain. The coating sits on the film surface, while the film remains the layer responsible for physical impact protection.
Surface Works installs XPEL PPF, so any coating recommendation must remain compatible with the specific XPEL film, its existing surface technology, warranty and aftercare requirements. HALOv2 is not automatically added to every XPEL installation. We first check which film is installed and whether a separate coating adds useful value without conflicting with the selected XPEL system.
Who is it best for?
Suitable existing PPF or vinyl where added hydrophobic behaviour is beneficial and product compatibility has been confirmed.

Existing PPF is inspected for lifting, contamination, staining and damage before coating. A surface layer cannot correct failed or physically damaged film, which may need repair or replacement first.
