Compare With Confidence Promise

A lower price doesn’t always mean better value. Compare products, coverage, warranty and workmanship with confidence.

Not all ceramic coating and PPF quotations are equal, and we understand that price matters. That’s why we offer the opportunity to compare our services against any genuine like-for-like quotation without any hard sell.

Whether by phone, email, WhatsApp or text message, we’re happy to explain exactly what is included in our quotation and why our pricing may differ from another installer’s.

If you’ve received a quotation elsewhere, we’d welcome the opportunity to review it and, where appropriate, provide a revised quotation based on comparable products, coverage and services.

Where a quotation isn’t directly comparable, we may be able to offer a more competitive solution. Where it is genuinely like-for-like, we’ll help you understand exactly what’s included so you can make an informed decision with confidence.

That’s why we offer our Compare With Confidence promise.

When comparing quotations, make sure you’re comparing:

Products
  • Genuine XPEL and Gtechniq products
  • Manufacturer-approved installation systems
  • No substitute or unapproved alternatives
Warranty
  • Manufacturer-backed warranty
  • Accredited installer support
  • Long-term peace of mind
Installer Standards
  • Work being carried out by a trained, accredited or certified installer?
  • Installation completed to manufacturer-recommended standards?
  • Quality & performance prioritised over speed and volume?
Coverage
  • Same panels protected
  • Same level of coverage (edges and wraps)
  • No hidden exclusions (smaller fiddly bits not installed)
Preparation
  • Are premium preparation products being used before installation begins?
  • Is the vehicle being properly washed, decontaminated and prepared?
  • Are shortcuts being taken to reduce installation time and costs?
Insurance Protection
  • Public Liability Insurance
  • Motor Trade Insurance
  • Vehicle damage, theft and road risk cover

It’s also important to ensure your chosen installer is fully insured. Public liability insurance is only one part of the picture. If your vehicle is being collected, moved (even on private land), road tested or transported, the business should also hold appropriate motor trade insurance covering accidental damage, theft and road risks.

At Surface Works, we use the complete manufacturer-approved systems from XPEL and Gtechniq to ensure your vehicle receives the protection, performance and warranty support these brands are known for.

For XPEL installations, we use approved XPEL products and installation methods throughout the process to ensure your protection remains fully supported by XPEL’s warranty requirements. Your PPF will be installed in house by a fully certified installer and not outsourced or handed to an apprentice.

For Gtechniq installations, we use Gtechniq products throughout the wash, decontamination, preparation and protection stages to ensure your vehicle receives the premium care it deserves before any coating is applied. All Gtechniq installations are carried out at our HQ and by an accredited installer and not delegated to unqualified members of staff.

Of course we’d love to earn your business, but our priority is ensuring your vehicle receives the correct protection. If another genuine authorised installer is offering a truly comparable service, we’d rather see the work completed to the correct standard than see corners cut simply to win a sale.

The reality is that warranty issues with premium brands such as XPEL and Gtechniq are extremely rare. However, on the uncommon occasion that a warranty claim is required, the quality of the original installation can become very important in ensuring the customer receives the support they’re entitled to.

In some circumstances, warranty support may be assessed or handled by another authorised installer if the original installer is no longer trading, no longer supports the product, or the customer has moved location. That’s one of the reasons we believe correct preparation, approved products and manufacturer-recommended installation methods matter so much.

Whether the work is carried out by Surface Works or another genuine authorised installer, it should be completed correctly from day one. This helps ensure any future warranty assessment can be handled smoothly and gives the customer the best possible protection throughout the life of the product.

The last thing any vehicle owner wants is an unexpected bill or warranty dispute years later because shortcuts were taken during the original installation—especially when some manufacturer warranties can provide protection for up to 10 years.

When you’re investing in premium protection, you’re investing in more than a product. You’re investing in the standards behind it.
